More Disc Golf

* Last weekend was DK's bachelor party. It was a crazy good time. I started off Discin with Erik, Kris and AJ at Kaposia. Didn't play so well but it was fun to go. Course has changed since the last time I went about 4 years ago. Then we had the First and Last Annual DK Bachelor Party Disc Golf Tournament at North Valley. I helped organize it and it went off without a hitch. DK took 1st place in it and 4 out the 5 guys who won money were SZ duders. After that a much smaller group of 6 went to the Eagan DG course. We played team skins and Rob and I won that. I also shot the best here out of the 6 of us, but I also have ton more experience on the course. Later that night we did the usual bachelor party thing downtown and stayed out until about 4am. The following day we did a hungover round of Disc at Kaposia and I improved by 4 shots from the day before. So much disc golf it was a lot of fun. AJ and I finished the weekend playing 72 holes of disc golf.

* Not much new going on with the baby. Mandy did create this baby blog for us to post some news on. 1 post so far and sure to be more.

Big News From My World

* Mandy is knocked up and apparently its mine. Our baby is due on Feb 9th. We are very excited. Not much else to say at the moment, but now I feel old.

* I'm continuing to play a ton fo disc golf this summer. I even started playing in a Thursday night league at Plymouth Creek. My first week I didn't do so well, shot +8 and didn't place in the amateur division. I think i was kinda nervous. My 2nd week I was on fire and I dominated the Ams division shooting -7. I won money for 1st place, plus won money for the least bogeys and most birdies. After that they made me move up to the middle division which is Advanced. I finished -2 in my first Advanced division and was a few shots away from placing. I did win league wide CTP contest though, I won flashlight for that, it was cool. I have also recently had my best rounds to date at Hyland, Acorn, Bryant Lake and Bassett Creek. Its a lot of fun to improve from my scores earlier this year.

* The Dikeman wedding was a lot of fun last weekend. I was a groomsmen and we had a great wedding party crew. I saw a lot people I hadn't seen in awhile so that was fun. Andy and Sarah are a great couple and it was good to see them get married.

* We start the mini 3 week Goaltimate season this week, so that is another thing to keep me busy. Also, softball starts up again. I've been playing decent but I think I could still do better. We have about 3-4 weeks left. Our record is like 3-9, not very good. I think that puts us at 5th place outta 6.

* Got to go the cabin a few times last month. Both times were a blast. Fishing has been solid and still do the same old jetsking, tubing swimming etc. I'm usually more tired after a weekend at the cabin with all the activities but its worth it.
